Christina Norsig is the CEO/Founder of PopUpInsider, the first National online Marketplace for temporary real estate. Christina has been heralded as the “Queen of Pop-Ups” and possesses unique skills and vision to turn an empty space into an economically successful and buzz-generating property. She has pioneered several techniques for using PopUp Retail as a powerful interactive marketing tool for both real estate owners and brands. Her expert opinions have been quoted on CBS News with Katie Couric, NY1, PBS Nightly News, NPR Radio, Crain’s New York Business, Bloomberg News, USA Today, Reuters, INC Magazine and The Wall St. Journal. Based in New York City, Ms. Norsig is a retail, technology, and marketing expert. After opening her own PopUp Shops for her herself and other brands she joined forces with Eric Michael  Anton and founded PopUpInsider.com. Norsig understood that there was shift in the industry which was moving from Bricks, Clicks to today’s Quicks. She is now trusted by property owners with hundreds of thousands of square feet around the US to find innovative business concepts to fill the space. She also is the author of the first business book on the subject of PopUp Retailing- Pop-Up Retail; How You Can Master the Global Marketing Phenomenon published by Bauhaus Press in 2010. As Co-Founder of PopUpInsider and the Managing Director of Brookfield Financial’s US office- one of the largest Real Estate Investment banks globally, Eric Anton is responsible for over 6 billion in real estate transactions including office, multifamily, hotel and development sites. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment brokerage,advising on all aspects of the acquistion and disposition requirements for private, institutional and public company clientele. Prior to joining Brookfield Financial he was Executive Managing Director of Eastern Consolidated, one of the top brokerages in New York City and started his career with Bovis Lend Lease in Construction and Project Management.

Recent transactions include the $122MM sale of the 1MM square foot Verizon Tower at Pearl Street in Manhattan now being redeveloped into a Telecom Hotel, the financing of the $500MM renovation and conversion of AIG’s former Headquarters building into a luxury residential apartment building, and the repositioning of 200 Lafayette Street in Soho New York.  Mr. Anton has dual undergraduate degrees from Brown University, and holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from Columbia University.  Mr. Anton is on the Leadership Board of Ronanld McDonald House, Israel Bonds, and is a member of the Commercial Board of Directors of the Real Estate Board of New York.

During the Great Recession of 2009 and over 13% retail vacancy, Mr. Anton & his business partner Christina Norsig were key thought leaders in educating both Real Estate owners and merchants nationally-bringing PopUp Retailing mainstream.  Together the team has defined an industry, created a formula for the most financially successful PopUp projects for owners & merchants Nationally.
